As deep as oceans are in thy blue eyes
I ponder to myself: where have I been
Lost in your love, a bird in your high skies
A poor blind man I was, but now I've seen
Truth lies behind your eyes that I can see
Alone. I don't roam this earth without you,
For we are one, and one we'll always be
So darling take my heart, take my hand too.
And though your eyes stare without seeing me
They see much deeper than eyes ever could
They see deep in my heart where I am free
And where we live together, long and good
No ocean separates the love we feel
We're birds, our universe is vast and real
