Look Deeper

If one wants to know the scope of man's physical and psychological image (The Good The Bad) look deeper into the pond of surface reflection into the very molten core of earth existence.... Christ said it: "the Kingdom is at hand" -- to grasp yet far too many of us keep them clenched as fists....

To have a deeper perception, we have to look beyond the surface. If we have open hands, we can hold many things. Nothing will come into clenched hands. Through a couple of lines, you have conveyed so much of wise thoughts.

Everything is controllable -- only we will not ever be able to control everything -- only what we come in contact with. Everything is infinite. Everything is God, the unknowable. So far we can relate to, the Father, Son, and Holy spirit. Your answer reminds me of a Poe Poem, speaking of sand: (best I recall) "how few, yet how they creep, through my fingers, to the deep, while I weep...oh God can not clasp them with a tighter grasp? Oh God can I not save one from the pitiless wave? Is all we see and seem, but a dream within a dream?"

Dear Joe, such wisdom flowing throughout your poem, especially this line really stood out for me “ look deeper into the pond of surface reflection” thats exactly what ive been doing recently: and i think its a process, a journey, that im still cruising through, life is as such, and time too a revealer just like the light within us. Being on soup helps me with that. Sending you light always! Pleasure reading your poem today

Thank you, IE: If you are into Christian Mysticism, or are just inquisitive, look on the internet for anything by Hannah Jacob Doumette. His books will blow your mind away -- in an enlightened way. I recommend "Life After Death" to start. But "The Power of Mind", the Power of The Spoken Word" (these are small booklets) are lifelong meditations in esoteric wisdom by themselves. Blessings my friend.

Hi Andrea; less words sometimes works better. Allowing the reader participation in the writing. Depends on the subject, I guess? This one seems to work alright. Thank you.

Clenching in anger instead of Christ's hope! Hugs

Somethings are easier to hold on to than others -- like Freedom.

I like how this metaphor works, Joe: For an open hand is a giving hand, whereas a clenched hand or fist bespeaks stinginess and belligerence. Bravo, Gershon

Yes! Absolutely, to practice Reciprocity. Thank you, Gershon.

The kingdom hope is free to all who desire it (Revelation 22:17). Sadly, most keep fists clenched, as you poetically point out. My latest deals with the human psyche as well
