Lone Dandelion

In a verdant meadow expanse,
A lone dandelion stands,
Trading golden crown
For a halo of fragile wisps.
Sun's affection now distant,
Yet in its fragile state,
An ethereal beauty emerges,
An elder amidst fleeting youth.
Holding a thousand dreams,
Awaiting the gust's embrace,
Whispered tales ready to be shared,
With an ever-changing world.
Silent beacon it remains,
Testament to resilience and phases,
Embracing life's ebb and flow,
In the dance of time and change.

A lone dandelion, in solitude, too finds healing and emanate light to all that around, this is a very deep poem, that really speaks volumes. I felt the emotions and strength of this dandelion amidst fragility, in an ever changing world. How beautifully youv delivered such a soulful write! The way you’ve used metaphors and painted imagery here is so touching and I loved the flow! Pleasure reading this. Congratulations on receiving POTD. A fave this is for me

Great job Don. I have been an advocate for the dandelion for years....much to the consternation of my neighbors. I like to think of themas tiny sunflowers. POTD...could that also mean...Pull Out Those Dandelions
