Little Toys Tiny ships that sail bathtub seas... Small construction vehicles that cruise the sandbox... Plastic soldiers that go to war, without a cause of any kind, most if not all never return. Race Cars, fire trucks, and ambulance'... Trash trucks, fast trucks, and even trailers... The whole world as seen in miniature, through small happy eyes full of dreams... of bigger things. A. Ann, you've described much of my childhood! I love your line "small happy eyes / full of dreams / of bigger things". Indeed, I once aspired to be a trashman, as they worked the coolest trucks (or a fireman, as they worked the loudest trucks). Alas, life had other plans. TY for this delightful write ~ John
