One of the dumbest things we were ever taught was to write what we know. What we know is usually dull. Remember when you first wanted to be a writer? Sara, your Haibun is truly exceptional. It serves as a profound guide for poets, highlighting the notion that the only hindrance to a poet's creativity lies within their own imagination. Your statement encapsulates this concept eloquently.

Insightful poetry, Sara. Nice Haibun. I can see you as the girl in the picture. I would have loved to know you then. I'd carry your books home for you. Hugs, Bill

A magnificent Haibun, Sara. I know if I actually did all the things I write about, it would take a couple hundred years and cost millions of dollars. Imagination is the best way to travel.

thanks for visiting and for commenting, Jerry. Me, too. If I did all the things I imagined or wrote all the things I imagined, I probably wouldn't sleep :-) Appreciate you, Sara
