Why I Hired A Career Coach To Help Me With My Mid Career Change Journey

Lilith is the first woman to stand for her rights as an equal

Disobedience demonized, her rebelian recognized

She pulled off the chains of patriarchy, she found

Freedom in her own sacred garden

Lilith Luna dwells amongst us, make no mistake~ she's in every woman and at times for our own sake—I Am Anaya

Why should I be as one to veileth herself, asking God, why thy Lilith? You who made me of filth and impure sediment Unlike the first man, made of dust or earth What cause am I to deserve bedevilment? Beneath him I am bitter like the root of myrrh Snake charmer with cymbals capture's men devout to her Spell binding for the lout A silky veil of crimson drapes her luminous skin Like the blood seen from many a slayed men Zills made of human bones Imprinted are erotic symbols Shrouded are her features Lacen'd silk brush velvet lips Intensity blazes as sparkling ebony eyes appear Raven hair flows wild like glossy black feathers, Bare feet buried in nights cool sand, Swaying hips from side to side Alluring goddess, she ascends to the sky Her wings fan the flames traversing through ancient Syria Her equality shall be her alibi Lusty lascivious lovers! Sons of fathers, the unbaptized doomed to the fiery hells There in languid desire she dwells Why should I be as one to veileth herself? I am the first feminist Likened to the glow of the moon Lilith Luna, she roams Any time anywhere and very soon Director of destructive electric storms To all who shall not escape the flames of fire Her wistful wings fan the flames My spirit shall be lifted nevermore only to enquire Why I should be the one to veileth herself, for I am Lilith First woman on Earth

Anaya, congratulations on your finish!! I enjoyed your poem, an engaging and entertaining read!! I like how you empowered her, her confidence and security is admirable, she’s questioning GOD, unapologetically being herself!!! Love it!!! Well done

Anaya, I am looking at your inset and thinking you have red hair. Does that explain the fire with which you compose a poem like this? It's truly remarkable. The conversation with the creator says it all and the term "veileth" creates a perfect image for holding back. She is everywhere indeed. You might get a kick out of my poem (on the last page written 2/22/2010) called "Lock it up." The power of a woman's beauty is well known to people with eyes. Really remarkable it is. For me, I look, but... I know how to restrain myself for my own good. I think many men haven't learned how.

Aha, I love gingers, and have sported strawberry blonde hair. I adored my cousin's and her green eyes! Thank you. I'll check out "Lock It Up" there are women as well, I always look at beautiful women!

Dear Anaya, soulful poetess, I am captivated by the language and questioning of your first stanza - the voice of Lilith. Her persona is wrapped in your sensuous artistry of dramatic imagery and dynamic metaphors. "Director of destructive electric storms" and "Her wistful wings fan the flames". "I am the first feminist" - Wow! A rich, semi-dark (the fierce nature of breaking the chains of patriarchy), inspiring, empowering piece with creative sprinkling of alliteration for extra gleam. A spellbinding creation! Let's raise a glass of bubbly in salute to Lilith and your brilliant pen! ;) A Fav! Warmest wishes my sweet poetry friend.. ~Susan

A poetic device yes, the question, repeated as a refrain. I'm in with sensuality in poetry, it's soulful and warming and inviting. I'll cheer to a fav with you, Susan Ashley, anytime, anywhere! Thank you. xhugs

Lilith makes feminism look like a very bad thing. hahaha. She went rogue but that's how you create a change anyway. Just words won't do. I love the structure and language used. Lovely portrayal of Lilith. Cheers Anaya.

Absolutely, lol. I wasn't sure if it would work, you know giving her girl power and activist for women's rights was tough knowing men created her. Gave her an edge anyway. Thank you for your visit and review, Tonye

Exceptional poetry Anaya, not as angsty or edgy as mine, (that’s a good thing) but certainly more poetically polished and beautifully penned, A powerful message comes through nonetheless, Lilith did not ask for or deserve the demonisation afforded by man, top one for contest, cheers David

He preferred that we make our own Lillith's, like you did, yours is edgy, I tried to make it as edgy as possible by giving her Wings and Girl * Power. Thank you, I'm honored, David!

Yes, my Lillith rebelled against the patriarchy in which she was born into. The first feminist! Describing her sufferings and what she had to do before she became unchained and at peace in her own garden. I really enjoyed your entry as well, SP!

Written with forceful urgency. Girls must be afforded the opportunity to live up to their potential, with the hearty encouragement and backing of their families, schools, and society at large. In doing so, our world will thrive and flourish in greater harmony and vitality. Gender equality will spawn equality and happiness for all God's children. Well done--Bravo! Robert

I'm delighted we agree with each other, Robert. You are wise to know how important women's rights are. It's sad in other lands how much women suffer. Thank you, bravo to you! xhugs

Dear Anaya, Your poem is eloquently filled with raw emotion and powerful imagery. I loved how you've skillfully put together themes of identity, defiance, and empowerment, giving Lilith a haunting and captivating voice. Your exploration of feminism and the reclaiming of narrative is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your talent and shedding light on the complexity of female autonomy. I have three grown daughters and now 3 young granddaughters who I want the best. - Blessings, my friend! - Daniel

Girl Power! The lopsided nature of patriarchy throws the yin and the yang way off, Daniel. Bringing us to the dire precipice of which we find ourselves now. Only the best for our daughters my dear Daniel. I have no doubt that you are a wonderful father & grandfather in setting a fine example. Blessings~Anaya
