The light house stands
Upon the rock
Set not in sand
Hourglass can't mock
It's beams radiate
Outward and far away
Where wife and child await
In that lonesome bay
Will the light be seen by
The crew upon the ship
And the elements defy
Lighthouse shine, lead men home
To the port, with their transport
Light the way, save those who roam
Even though family's nerves distort
Wa splash, spray, house
ter foam light
Save home day
the coming
