Sweeping through the streets, his glance so much more,
Than piercing glimpse, such lonely path they tore,
Travel distance, leave paralyzing grey,
Determined to find hope along the way.
He knew he was a man on a mission,
But he would pay for his own destruction,
Pure at heart this man would not hurt a soul,
All he needed was life to make him whole.
For he had seen many things come and go,
There was one thing that he surely did know,
That in the end love would always prevail,
Love made in heaven, like a ship and sail.
But life doesn't always turn out this way,
With life on the edge, one can only pray
