Life Is Like a Butterfly
Life is like a butterfly
Showing beauty galore
Some have see through wings
To let you see more.
Like the butterfly you flutter
From one thing to the next
But not gathering sweet nectar
Not always doing your best
It's hard always to be happy
Showing a smile upon your face
Life isn't always joyful
The pain you cant erase
But the butterfly shows beauty
Proud to be alive for sure
We can learn from these insects
To except and not ask for more
So spread your wings and fly
Drink in the beauty of life
Enjoy each and every moment,
Shrug off the trouble and strife
Cos tomorrow is another day
For seeking out whats right
To smile, laugh shout with joy
From daybreak through 'til night
Then off to bed you go
Feeling oh so tired and snappy
Too tired to say goodnight
Anxious, but happy.
