A diaphanous veil
This world to next
Yet what's beyond
Still keeps us vexed
We dangle on
Such wispy threads
Just a fancy's flight
From fancy breads
We take for granted
Each new breath
When naught but heartbeats
From our death
So, fill your days
With purpose, rife
For all we really have ...
Is LIFE.
