Caught in the silence, there appeared a thought. Offering a seed of inspiration, Like an ember of imagination. Without some help it will turn into naught. With thoughts as tender, it begins a fire. I can feel warmth grow, then a deep desire. Precious like something, I worked for then bought. My heart births a truth, that now must be told. Letting the words flow, the truth will unfold. I will use the tools as I have been taught, The poem will come through, word after word. My heart is happy my voice will be heard.

For me, that thought in the silence requires immediate access to a ball point pen… else it’s gone. And those ‘gone’ thoughts are always my best work ;-) A smashing write on the creative process which I’m sure we all recognise, Bill.

I got through the same... a thought or an idea appears in my mind.. normally i think of a line or a couple of words that make an interesting pairing and a poem is brought into life... you poem rhymes and flows so well and so many poets and writers will relate to your message... excellent poem my friend.
