Let Thoughts Mature

Swirling words from an infinite field, caught and thought in a moment of time. Knowing not their future or their yield, their full potential may be sublime. Allow yourself a time to reflect, give your thoughts the freedom to expand. It won’t take long for them to connect, piece them together the best that you can. For simple thoughts to be understood, whether written are spoken, be clear. Used correctly, they’ll be more than good, they’ll be easy to read or to hear. Allow your thoughts to simmer and stew, make your message be truly unique. Add some depth for those special few, who hear more than just the words you speak. Most of your words the crowd will not hear, or even remember in the end. But those who listen, they will endear, mature thoughts on which they can depend.

There are so many wonders to discover, if only we let our thoughts mature. A fabulous and meaningful formula Bill. :)

I'm just writing what works for me and my thoughts on things. It's probably not what most people want to do or how they see things. I tend to be a little different than most people. Thanks for the visits and comments, my friend. Bill

another wonderful poem filled with wisdom, dear hubby. You've said so much here about reflection and letting things simmer in one's mind before writing or speaking. I agree, words are powerful; what one says isn't meant for everyone. We have no control over that...however, clarity and mindfulness before speaking helps the exchange of words & ideas. I guess I just reiterated what you said, but you said it beautifully. I cherish you and your poems....hugs from me to you.

Another wise and meaningful poem that flows in such captivating cadence. I love the way you’ve delivered this message. And sometimes we need to also be mindful about our thoughts too, as we don’t realize how thoughts can become things too. I really loved the line “ give your thoughts the freedom to expand.“ well phrased and received as a reader. Pleasure always reading your work. Your rhymes and profound way of expressing is impressive. Another fave for me
