Learning How To Breathe

I wish to tell someone I'm bothered Explain why, be coherent But I picture myself as flailing arms, not making sense, as I drown in my over explanations I'd write more now But as is the way I'm physically closing down in this moment Just like airways contract Cause the shut off from oxygen as a defence I'll sit, forget, become the problem Operate on auto pilot If I had space I'd see who I am Note what happens around me And learn how to breathe

Deep breaths make all the difference, as we sit by in our thoughts, we mustn't forget to breathe. Your thoughts today deeply resonate and strike a chord. xhugs

Thank you Anaya, there's a power in breath - it's good to harness it. Thank you for your kind words and stopping by to comment x

One breath at a time (and not how I had used the word in my earlier poem) ... ;) I can take as leaf out of your book and learn to breathe (with an 'e') --- A private joke, folks :) Hugs

If only being an expert at spelling the word could assist in the process. I'm just using poetry to get me over a little moment - 'rough' as ever as I wrote it indeed in one breath. Thanks for commenting, appreciated x
