Last Journey
Last journey out beyond our sights;
A farewell trip along fond roads:
Sad faces shout in final light;
Teary eyes grip gun carriage load.
Join grateful hearts who line the streets;
Opt just to pray for this great soul;
Urge lively start for final treat;
Rouse voice to stay for country whole;
Now statesman great lies in death's arms;
Each face we see tells a sad tale;
You unafraid have changed outcomes.
Observe this sea of one unveiled;
Undying faith has borne clear will;
Touching this date of Sunday feel.
