Lady Bug's a-Flipping

     clinging to a wind-tossed leaf
     a red-and-black-spotted ladybug
     flips upside down, then 
        right side up 
        again and again
        in rapid succession

     as if she were caught on 
     windshield wipers whapping madly
        ‘midst a driving rain
