La Boheme

Tonight I will go to the opera-- of course she will die again-- all our beloved Mimis do-- though we wish her to live... yet, as in and out of life, death draws us back.

Love your comment, Sara--thank you. I don't know that we seek to see death...I think more to greater understand it. A lot being said in this write: there is tacit reference to reincarnation; the notion also that, only through death of the Lesser-ego can mankind obtain greater experience of life. Then there is the notion that, we are born with an innate drive to understand the Sin-of-death, with unconscious knowledge that, somehow this mystery brings us closer to truth--thus, back to God from whom we have strayed. One can write a volume about this subject, but I chose to put it all in a few lines, and let the reader explore for his or her own satisfactory answers.
