An unfortunate fellow named Keith He had terribly prominent teeth When he flashed a smile They stuck out a mile Dribble ran down his chin underneath A beautiful lady caught his eye After dating a kiss they did try But his date soon walked away When his teeth got in the way He was bereft and started to cry 23rd March 2016

That guy reminds me of Peter Lorre. I'm probably the only guy old enough to remember him. Funny stuff Jan. Thanks for the comic relief. Most of the poems I've read today have been a bit broody.

Oh poor keith... A pity the lady was not a dentist , She could have fixed out his teeth : ), Or else He should have dated her on Easter Sunday, and tell her He is a bunny retreat : ). Funny post, love it : ).

ha ha ha Andrea - I wrote the first one some weeks back and added a second verse today - when I get my poems together I will probably just use the first stanza as I think it is stronger on it's own:-) hugs Jan xx
