Just Thinking

Most men seem to be surface dwellers; their sun on the outside carrying night within. Most men appear in fields of blossoms—aware of roots more steady above the mystery: Oh, they probe biology and mechanics—have dug and sampled, put a lens to creation: yet, no further from death seem we; leaving this life with only one less veil. (I have not met all men, though thousands and I have shared wine or word; but I have read books revered by masses...and all have paled next to the Light of God)

That last stanza makes incredible sense; as works of art also pale next to His light.

Once, at night, I was awakened by an angel: and a light entering my body, so incredible hot, I wondered why I was not disintegrated instantly--well, I have never been the same since. Oh, I don't walk on water by no means, still making a lot of mistakes in judgement and behavior, but the sense of Unbounded Love lingers in my mind and heart an Eternal Rainbow of hope for myself and the rest of humanity. Maybe you have experienced something similar. I pray you have.

I don't know that they feel this way, Si...I think it is unconscious behavior. It is just the way most of us are without realizing it. Really, there is no one who knows what lies entirely beneath the surface...we either believe what we've been taught, read, or have our own guesses. Life is far more complex than any of us image. True Truth is not something, at this stage of evolution, any of us are able to fully comprehend. Just my take on it of course. Blessings my friend.

Thank you, Connie; I did not know that your husband is ill. I have just said a prayer for his healing. Blessings my friend.

First hand observation beats second hand words. When the probing looks only at the structure but ignores the intention, the result may be interesting but does not explain life. Thanks for the stimulation, Joe.
