What's it like to live inside a cloud?
A fog so thick it isolates,
confounds, and consumes you.
There is no up, no down, just fog.
A suffocating mist everywhere
that makes me wonder,
why anyone would choose to live inside a cloud.
Clouds cling; they are all-encompassing,
binding you to reality and truth.
Dreams defend smoke and mirrors to entice you,
and yet, love cannot find you in a phantom mist.
Call on the winds of fate to blow away the fog
and step outside of your dreams.
Sometimes you need to get your head
out of the clouds, open your eyes,
and look around!
Leave your phone home, get out and enjoy the sun,
find fun and meet real people
with real feelings and beating hearts,
just like you!
