Just August

Going to school wearing masks was very difficult for the kids especially here with the heat of Hawaii. We are all very happy the masks are gone now. Congratulations on your wonderful winning poem. Blessings xxoo

Thank you, Connie! My daughter wouldn’t send her kids the year where masks were required. Their pet bunny became the class pet via zoom. I couldn’t stand working with the mask. On the day we didn’t “have” to wear them I took it off. I didn’t care what everyone else decided. My face was free to breathe, to smile and to talk clearly. They still hid us behind plastic, in the library. God help us!

Well now they are excited to see their friends and everything is new. Unmasking used to be for the phantom or Zorro ;)
