Listen to poem:
it seems i’ve been on an endless journey i grow weary and know the sand is spent i set my sights on what’s important and don’t hesitate to cast aside the rest time with fury charges right on by there are days i’ve admittedly let escape unborn stories that never saw the light sometimes i wonder if it’s best to just accept to be content and simply let life float right on by while i truly do feel blest i’d hate to leave behind the bitterness of my regrets AP: 1st place 2022, 3rd place 2023, Honorable Mention 2022 Submitted on May 7, 2022 for contest A BRIAN STRAND PREMIERE CHOICE sponsored by BRIAN STRAND Posted on May 6, 2022

Poignant thoughts... though when asked about death, Jane Fonda answered 'I don't think about it.' ~ Jane Wolf

Sometimes it's a good way to appreciate how precious our time really is ~

Your poem intrigues me Line. Does the passing of time affect the way we think and act and live? Yes, I suppose it does but I've never thought about it too much. ..and your last line.. I'm asking myself if the bitterness of regrets would spur me on or hold me back..and I'm unsure. Much to ponder from your poem and much to love. Cheers - Gary

Time is very much a preoccupation of mine ~ too much so, I'm sure.
