Kazuo Shiraga was a physical artist, using his body in a performative way to create the paintings.

chaos is always controlled with a beginning middle and end afterwards analysis will identify trends our brains redundant there's little point in thinking free movement of energy flow connects the mind to elsewhere muscle fibres twitch we become set to receive suddenly we're in the space occupying mindfully numb in sync with the absence of air distraction ceases we don't need to know just to feel then we snap back get obsessed with far away or under our own nails forgetting we were and could be again in the moment

Chaos has a certain beauty to it Dilly, (from a distance that is) just like your poem here describes a moment most of us are oblivious to, but yet you somehow managed to express in fine detail! You know this painting is growing on me, I’m looking for mistakes, but it’s absolutely flawless just like unadulterated chaos :) a thought provoking piece, cheers David

I've viewed a few of his others and there's brilliance in them! Some I might even put on my wall (but not pay the mansion prices for). I absolutely do love a moment of alignment of the amidst chaos kind. There's so many places to go in this painting. Thank you for diving in :)

Ah dear dd, how did you find this artist! Really deep and intriguing, piece of art youv used as inspiration and youv written a poem worthy of all the accolades! I think many can resonate with many lines in this especially i felt the lines "mindfully numb in sync with the absence of air distraction ceases we don't need to know just to feel then we snap back" mindfully numb! Seriously not sure how you thought of pairing those two words together but this is truly soul hitting! Loved it!

I enjoy browsing through art and just happened upon it. There's photos of him 'creating' too :) I just love that art can indulge in such ways :) pulling out the feelings when in flow and trying to grasp at all why we have flow state is so intriguing! Pretty sure I was mindfully numb at the end of a 2 hour exercise session haha thanks again for your comment, valued x

You seem to have connected with this picture, although I'm still working on it. I'd think that the jet stream would have color, perhaps teal. Your poem is very entertaining, especially the words about chaos.

Thanks Hilda, I possibly connected with the artists concept more than this particular painting. Although there's galaxies, stairways, billowing clothing or clouds - suggesting a dance that's smooth then angular, sharp stops met by a kiss, or maybe the stop is the beginning... I could probably write about this several times over. I wouldn't hang it on my wall but I might sign up for the roll about in paint class haha :)
