January Dawn- Ws

January dawn
Snowfall's promised purity
Gleams under a silver sun

Robin's flash of red
Birdsong delicately fills
The quiet white interlude

Lovely pairing. I can picture the intense brightness of the snow and the robin standing out, visually as well as audibly.

Funny, it actually doesn't snow much in my neck of the woods (Portland OR) but I liked the image of a red robin in a winter white field so I went with it! Thank you as always for your warmth and encouragement, my friend~
