Jack and Betty - a Love Story

Jack gave Betty a wedding ring Life for them a kite on a string No worries, no cares, they were in love Everything perfect, below and above Then one night Jack went 'too far' Look, my dear Betty, how pregnant you are Nine months later, morning sickness aside Betty no longer felt like a bride A new baby to care for, her husband out the door Betty wondered what she'd gotten married for But just one look in her baby's blue eyes Betty just knew -- her sun would again rise And rise it did, because Betty had faith Married again, she's expecting her eighth

Good grief! Poor Betty will be really poor after buying all those diapers! Hard to give time and attention to each little ankle biter when their are so many.

Sounds like the sun wasn’t the only thing rising, GW. Hopefully child 2 through 8 are to the same daddy…. Or dating’s gonna be a minefield. Ha ha… and you thought I’d go all squidgy over baby’s blue eyes! ;-) Terry

A very cute story beautifully and interestingly told in rhyming verse. "But just one look in her baby's blue eyes Betty just knew -- her sun would again rise"..... Most mothers can relate to this experience of Betty ! Well done, Gershon !

And what about Jack?! What a loser, eh?! Oh, well. Betty will get better than him next time! Thanks, Valsa.
