Hi Jan, I love this poem because I can relate to it so much! Poetry I used to write as a teenager and then occasionally wrote one, here an there. My first serving of confidence came with my degrees and the cherry on the top was finding poetry soup. Up to when I joined this group I had written about sixty poems and in the last almost 3 years have posted plus/minus 350. This write deserves a top win. aww i adore that track, would love to have seen Pink Floyd the nearest we got is a tribute group called pigs on the wing, they were a local group - totally awesome, sadly they have stopped performing after about 2o yrs together, hugs jan xx
