It's Always Been You, My Love
When pebbles no longer surface the shore,
is when I shall love you no more-
For it’s a l w a y s been you that I adore,
so let’s become one, and close the door.
We have so many great things in store.
When the petals no longer encompass a ROSE,
is when I shall love you no more-
May we keep the p a s s i o n, nights of REPOSE.
When dry land is never saturated with rain,
is when no more love for you shall remain-
I will never be filled with anger or disdain,
as we e m b r a c e our romance, love shall sustain.
I am the beauty your heart shall contain.
When the branches no longer attach the LEAVES,
is when no more love for you shall remain-
For in my t r u t h and light you always BELIEVE.
When p a s s i o n exists without a kiss,
is when I shall leave our love’s abyss-
For when you are away, it’s your touch I miss,
and as I lay on my bed I start to reminisce
about how I could never live without this.
When the sea starts to run DRY,
is when I shall leave our love’s a b y s s-
If you ever walked away I would literally DIE.
We share an enduring commitment beyond comprehension.
