Islet of Fancy
The porous moon drips wine
into the crystal goblet of fancy
as late night beguiles my skin, reeling
on a Friday parade of lights;
my hips oh so beckon, swaggering to and fro..
impossible to deny the islet's ride
of a soul flitting in an out of supple thoughts
when imagination dangles on anklets of stars
as naked rhythm grows, my free will abides
to sip the juice of this one night..
and out on a fiesta, dear Isis wheels
the carousel along colored banners,
sprinkling tinsels on a dream-like ride oh so high
to reel magic in my heart
tingling flesh against ingot of time...endless,
I will not wake, not yet.
