“All the world's knowledge is now at our fingertips. But the same technology is robbing us of interpersonal relationships and deeper insights.” - By Poet
I stretched my cupped hands, To hold the manna dropped from above. Through the gap between my fingers, Much of it leaked away. I deeply regretted my clumsiness, For wasting what I could have saved, As every drop of it being so precious. But soon I got over my remorse, As, I saw a dog licking it up, Appeasing its gnawing hunger. Thought of the poor Biblical Lazarus. Had Dives been extra careful, Not to drop even a crumb of bread He would have died of starvation! As this thought came to me, A new insight dawned on me. Letting go off was now easier. Slowly knew, there was greater pleasure, In sharing than in hoarding!

I see this won a contest, congratulations, Valsa! Your words spoke to my soul, everything that is created by God, sometimes through man, is useful in some way. some will misuse their gifts and talents, but they will all eventual come to live in others in their family or those they interact with. God's has provided enough for everyone to have enough. Man has wasted and misdistributed to a fault. Bless you and your lovely and meaningful poetry, my dear friend. Peace be with you forever, Bill

Sorry you can't have cats, Valsa. So was it for sure that the cat you mentioned had rabies?

No Andrea. It didn't have any rabies. My son who was only three then accidentally stamped on its tail. Deeply hurt, it scratched and bit him. There was a red scratch on his leg. Fearing, we immediately took him to the hospital to have anti rabies injecton. All of us were scared.

Manna in the desert and yet they wanted quails. No satiating element in humans. Great observations, my dear Valsa.
