Inside the Box
What was inside the box?
I pondered what it was
So many tissues paper
Is piled in the box
I begin my task
Removing slowly
The tissues inside
One by one piled
Onto the carpet
It was endless task
As the tissues piled
Onto the carpet
Inside more tissues
It seemed so endless
Yet I removed more
The pile growing
I wondered when it ends
I continue the task
Removing the tissues
The mist is faded
I can see inside
The mist is fading
I stare for hours
A shape I now can see
I reach for the box
Glancing at the box
It was sealed with tape
Taking the tape off
I opened the box
A Sheet of paper
I began to read
From a love one
