Great write. How often we hide our true feeling behind humour and smiles. Like Keith, I immediately pictured an image of the clown's upside down smile. Clever the way you split this into two stanzas. Thank you for welcoming me back; I see you've been very busy while I was away! Love, Nigel

Much said in these few short words... especially since a clown is often hiding his/her tears... Love, Keith

The mask that covers the real pain that kills inside. I love the way this is written with one word on each line. Another good job.

I sense a double meaning here, am I right? people always think I'm happy too (as I am always smiling) but it get's annoying when I'm actually hurting - sometimes the smiles just come out out of nerves - i hope this means you are always happy! Kristin
