Image result for crops rippling in a breeze at sunset images

In solitude, I watch the clear blue sky. Leaves flutter on the grand majestic oak beneath which I am sitting; swallows fly around me, swooping! Now I hear a croak - a sound that I am sure I’d never hear if I were on a busy city street. I stand and walk around. The sound is near. The feeling that I get is rather sweet when finally I spot there on the pond the tiny frog that’s serenading me. Crops rippling in the breeze I see beyond my shaded spot. I soon must leave my tree. Red sunset I will watch before I creep in quiet of the night back home to sleep! For Line Gauthier's The Beauty of Solitude Poetry Contest

I guess I found one more from Sistine, ha! I think this was the only sonnet chosen to be in the movie? Well, it's pretty amazing. The contrast between city life and the rural setting where you can hear frogs croaking and see crops rippling. Pure loveliness in poetry. Well done, as always sonneteer!

I honestly hardly remember this one in the movie!! I think it was one of my "back burner" poems for the movie and he did not originally put it into the script I saw for the movie, so when I watched it at the film festival,it caught me off guard! thanks for reading so many of my movie's poems!

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. Chills a Favorite! I live in the country and this poem is home to me. If I were faraway...this poem would carry me home. I have two volunteer pet frogs that have taken my drainpipe for their cool abode. I've named them Sweetie & Peep-Peep! +7
