In Balance
You are a safari,
but I wonder can you see
the vision, what I think of
when you look at me;
Your eyes are like cliff diving;
You push me to an edge,
Ask me to look so hard
before jumping again and again;
You’re a bit like the Nile,
Ferocious and nourishing;
An open book
yet shrouded in mystery;
Perfect rain, perfect sun
you’re a piece of the Savanna
dangerously inviting,
Wild, and completely in balance.
