Imagination Gave Me Wings
When I was a child I had a big imagination,
I imagined that I was a beautiful butterfly.
I resembled a girl and fairy, a lovely combination.
I had the urge to fly high in the big azure sky.
My wings were so mesmerizing and pleasing to the eye.
Without my vast imagination pain would’ve won.
It allowed healing from things that weighed a ton.
As I write I fly high above a melancholy past,
Each day that I live I aim to give life a big blast.
