Imagination
this is the voice of imagination
can you open your mind like a child
I will take you to another world a world of spirit and tranquility
now take a deep breath and begin to read slowly let my words
be your guiding light can you hear me breathing breathing
do you see a door yes imagine a door now open it and step through
imagine . . .
you are walking in an emerald green woods the birds are twittering
and you can hear water dripping transcend into solitude
can you hear the trickling of a nearby stream the rippling
listen . . .
you are oneness with earth let it flow through you
tall the trees that touch the azure sky lush the ferns mosses
beautiful and colorful the wildflowers growing in a meadow
echoing bird songs embrace you with melodies soothing
you are in harmony with nature free to be that child again
run . . .
in the meadow pick the wildflowers twirl and spin
do you hear the wind whispering in the trees the leaves shivering
can you see the beauty in dappled shadows rest on the soft ground
hear . . .
the silence of tranquility yes you are a child again with new eyes
full of possibilities and imagination
