Don't feel bad/gray, Joseph. We all get there sooner or later unless....Well, you know. Color each day you have now with the rainbow. And, congrats on your win in the contest.

When a childhood was not so great it can impact us as we grow up. We can't change the past, but the future is ours to control... These few great lines have said so much. I truly hope that brighter days have come your way, Joseph.

Nicely rhymed at the end too, Joseph. I like the idea of life you expressed in this one. What was once so black and white for us, as we age, I think the lines blur and there is a lot of gray.
