I'M Just Getting Started
why do you see me as broken-hearted?
look out world...
~I’m just getting started~
for there is no mount high enough for me,
an open field wide enough for me to spread
my sowing seeds of redemption-
they think I’m caged when I’ve been freed,
see me as small when my heart encompasses
all the world’s emotions
(overwhelmingly beautiful…)
a thirst quenched
a famine nourished
a photo framed
a rose flourished
I’m immune to dependency;
saturated in thoughts of liberation and fearing
not fate-
walking through the threshold of sovereignty,
for it is my prerogative to be happy and hopeful…
finally
freedom from all that held me back flows,
as
LOVE for MYSELF
grows;
my life has been blessed since pain has departed-
so look out world…
