If Only It Was Possible

I know this thought is childlike I will voice it nevertheless If only it was possible Our world would not be such a mess I wish that the heavens opened daily Spraying a gentle mist throughout the earth That every human would softly inhale First breath taken at birth This mist unseen to the human eye Would be a mist of pure kindness It would not solve all life’s issues Simply start by putting hatred behind us Kindness a gentle unseen mist just floating in our air Rendering humans with humility and grace If only it was possible Our world would be a kinder, better place

I believe it is possible Deb. It's that not everyone does. Power, greed overrides the kindness we like to express, in this life. I like the 3nd stanza, a great fantasy, Sweet thoughts! :)

There's nothing wrong with having childlike thoughts, Deb. If more people thought with their innocence the world would not be in such a state of upheaval and misery today. It will take a different mindset from those who are hungry for power... if only...
