Deb M Poet Rhyme

-If Only It Was Possible

I know this thought is childlike 
I will voice it nevertheless
If only it was possible
Our world would not be such a mess

I wish that the heavens opened daily
Spraying a gentle mist throughout the earth
That every human would softly inhale 
First breath taken at birth

This mist unseen to the human eye
Would be a mist of pure kindness
It would not solve all life’s issues 
Simply start by putting hatred behind us

Kindness a gentle unseen mist just floating in our air
Rendering humans with humility and grace
If only it was possible …
Our world would be a kinder and more peaceful place
