This is a lyrical adaptation of Becca Teagan's wonderful poem of the same name posted a few years ago. I finally got around to doing this one.It is one of my all time fave poems. Thank you Becca for writing such a powerfully passionate write, I'm in awe evey time I read it!!. I know this may not have all the flair and the imagery of her poem, but that's the way it goes with the restrictions of songwriting..there is always some poetic sacrifice that has to be made to make the syllable count work. It's like taking a beautiful free verse and trying to harness it with an imposed rhyme scheme and syllable count.

Like I mentioned to you more than a year ago Becca you will get writing credit as well if this song ever get's published and recorded!!! Here's to hoping!! Thanks again!!
