If Memories Are Sifted When One Refines

If Memories Are Sifted When One Refines Whenever you feel life is all vanity and doom consider the deepest depths of true love. Stop and consider, glorious flowers in bloom matching epic beauty of the skies above. For life shall always have troubles and woes complete with sad miseries and dark days. Remember, those great blessings life bestows and treasures delivered in so many ways. As years flow by and joy often comes around be thankful for goodness that so shines. A silver lining can almost always be found if memories are sifted when one refines. Darkness forever yields to greatness of light Truth eternally supports what is always right. Robert J. Lindley, 01-01-2015 Note: Sonnet, mixed syllable count.

An excellent Sonnet Robert. The words just flow in their sublimity. Words spoken from the heart shall always be heard and they shall always be read. I am so glad i stopped by here today Robert. I would have missed a precious gem....Vladislav. (7)

What a lovely last couplet, Robert. It's not always easy to find that silver lining in a gray cloud, but if we look closely there is something positive in everything. Very nice.
