I Wana Go Outside

I feel so alone right now, However I‘m in need of some alone T. I. M. E! These walls are closing in. The kids are screaming and fighting Where’s the darn referee? I’m in the other room taking a much needed alone time…. Break The cat is meowing, The dog is barking. Next thing you know, It’s the Tom and Jerry show…… Live! Oh what was I saying? I feel so alone the walls are closing in…. I never wanted go outside sooo bad. I’m a prisoner in my own home. I’m a prisoner and a warden at the same time. It’s evening now It’s bedtime Until tomorrow and the……. cycle repeats! Alexis Y. 3-29-2020

That is what we do -you describe it perfectly my friend. Today for the first time in about two weeks we sat in the garden - worried about my husband - has to urgently see the dermatologist tomorrow - worried about the outcome and about him travelling into Joberg. Blessings dear Alexis - Jennifer.

You ably express the feelings of the many who are in your same situation, Alexis! Apart from being vigilant we need to be patient. The urge to go out is understandable; I find a lot to do, and take several breaks by going out in the back yard and garden. I feel for those who do not have this luxury. Take care. Hi Alexis, this is so well written. Many people will be feeling this way at the moment. Myself, this social distancing isn't troubling me. I spend so much time at home, it is my safe place. One day, these times of staying inside will end. Till then, stay safe, my friend. have a wonderful Wednesday. Hugs....Mike. XX

you gotta just go out on your porch and take a breather. In these strange times, I feel very thankful to God that my kids are raised, coz I hear ya. That would be horrible to deal with the kids being young. I still have a job (for now) that allows me to work out of my home, and home is my favorite place to be anyway. I sure miss my gym and movie theaters though!! Good poem for getting out the angst.

Dark times Alexis, we're all in this together, tough as it is, it's the safest place to be right now. Hang in there. Stay safe. Tom

I think we can all relate - at least you can go to the grocery store (even if you don't really need anything!)
