In the quiet of each day and night I miss you,
oh, I miss you in all the places of my heart;
yet, I find you in nature and in skies of blue,
from what's left of my soul- you will never depart.
Oh, I miss you in all the places of my heart,
I miss your voice, smell, hugs, kisses, eyes, everything;
from what's left of my soul you will never depart,
and to the great memories we made- I will cling.
I miss your voice, smell, hugs, kisses, eyes- everything,
oh, I miss your smile, laugh, jokes and ever teasing;
and to the great memories we made, I will cling,
sometimes, I wonder will this sad grief be easing.
Oh, I miss your smile, laugh, jokes and ever teasing,
I whisper to you, miss you, need you, love always;
sometimes, I wonder will this sad grief be easing,
I visit your cold engraved name and with tears gaze.
I whisper to you, miss you, need you, love always,
yet, I find you in nature and in skies of blue;
I visit your cold engraved name and with tears gaze,
In the quiet of each day and night- I miss you.
