I Know Who You Are
In my dream you exist with idyllic ease,
Remaining invisible, you aim to please.
Just a bud you were when the morning kissed
And now you're a flower of fragrant bliss,
When I lingered in tiny tributaries
You taught me how to dream mighty big,
Carrying me with your lofty notions
Till I reached the expanse of deep oceans,
And when I saw you in my bird’s nest
You looked like listless greenish eggs,
Till one day you chose to wake me up
Chirping in zest like my adorable birds,
Looking up I see you as dark gloomy clouds
Till you rain intently to fill-up my reservoir,
I know your trees breathe-in my polluted air
Filling oxygen in my sphere so I can endure,
I'm sure you know when I'm feeling down
For as soon as you enter my woes are gone,
Something unique about your helpful stance
Regardless of how you manifest your form.
