I Don'T Know
I don’t know that poetry
should be particularly wise…
though it should be interesting;
as love need
not be entirely spoken...
for it is better
known by its presence
life’s stars come and go depending
on the season, and who is out
to watch –
skies shaping their
clouds to fit (or is it visa/versa?)
for every expression seems to have
its own, individual hopes and dreams…
I wonder if God really
chooses to see and know all
in advance –
or His Greatest
joy and experience,
are our moments
of seeming
miraculous discovery
...and the
uncontrollable,
indeed
childlike
excitement
that follows...
