For I Cannot Unlove You
Sangria sunsets and moments of clarity,
with tangerine shades bringing hope and sincerity...
...easing a troubled mind.
I know not of things that do not nurture-
I only know the beauty in mother nature and all her grace.
Our perfect picture painted reveals all things lovely,
like a treasure I hoped to find.
Resting gently upon the reverie,
I feel a glimmer of God's creation.
Just the slightest touch of your skin against mine
is enough to free me from any fallacy I may encounter-
I never knew starvation, until I hungered for you my love,
and you nourish me with all that you are.
As the tide surfaces the sand, I recall the most memorable sensation,
moments we walked along the fawn sandy shore.
Me...you...
after all we've been through-
and oh, those things you do.
For hope can be found in a moonlit moment…
and I cannot unlove you.
