In the stillness of my thoughts, I find the joy of singing to the silence and speaking life into my soul’s shining Son – quote by poet
A hush of breathless moans
Color my mind in hues of imagination
Filling the night with expressions
Of light and passion and grace
Endless songs of hope and praise
Praying on the wings of thanks
A whisper of encouraging words
Lifting the load on heart and soul
Gifting my mind with focus – goals
Knowing the joy of inspirational healing
Pouring down from the heights of love
Soothing and gentle, feelings so pure
They echo the calm of rivers and seas
Blessings we sometimes fail to appreciate
A quiet so genuine it liquifies the darkness
With a gasp of fresh, clean air filled with
Listening friends, the leaves and elms
The winding vines of delicately woven climbers
Who tease the light from the sunrise
And caress silhouettes of branches and limbs
Scattered across the lawn – figures dancing
Waltzing to the noiseless thoughts of those
Who know His will has saved us from harm
A peace overflowing the sounds of life
Overcompensating for this dreaded fear
This darkness that dresses in black ash
Without the fire to express her message
For those who long to discover exhilaration
On the stardust moments composed of rich
Charming poetry written on seas of dreams
And blended with the beauty from hearts
Who find their delight on the stillness sought
By artists and writers and preachers
Those who have mastered the art of solitude
And long to feel their voices fading
Into the tranquility of a soundless faith
