Got honey for mum I adore When shopping it smashed to the floor I have got to confess It was a sticky mess The shopkeeper gave me some more This happened last weekend when I was getting 3 jars of honey for mum, I was at the check out with my hubby and one jar slipped as we were packing and a shop assistant went and got us another one straight away and then had to deal with the gloopy mess 3/17/20

G'day Jan … I shouldn't laugh at adversity, but dropping a jar of honey is about the worst of all, considering there's no toilet paper around to clean it up - thanks once again Jan - Lindsay

Aren't they great when we have an accident in the store, they not only don't make us pay, but they clean up the mess. Way to keep customers coming back for sure. I enjoyed this. I had a bottle of tea slip out of my cart and they did the same for me. So cool! xxoo

Thank goodness it was not Tasmania's Leatherwood honey or you would have people licking it up of the floor! Stay healthy! Aloha! Rico

I worked in retail for years. People always felt so guilty when they broke something. The worst thing was when we put computer tags under all the products. Some 6 year old came along and took about 500 off the shelves. That took a couple of hours to sort out so a broken jar is nothing. Have a great day my friend.

sorry to hear you were under the weather, but glad to hear you're on the mend... seems the current way, to lock down care centers ...better to keep them safe... hugs

thanks Sandra, yeah I was expecting to help clean up the mess, they were so good. it looks like mum's carehome will probably go on lockdown so i need to get more toiletries in for her. i paid for her hair to be done for mother's day next sunday and hubby took a card in as I've had a sickness bug 2 days but feel better now but couldnt risk going in to see her hugs jan xx

Jan, I didn't think that they would slow down visits to visit the elderly.. That is going to bring their spirits down, a lot wait for the visits from their family since that brightens their day since they are stuck in the rest-home.

it was SO embarrassing Eve - mum has honey every day on her porridge so I was gettng 3 jars in stock in case we can't go in the care home which is looking increasingly more likely, they are making a decision tomorrow about having people other than staff in so i expect we will not be able to visit for quite a long time, it will be hard as we see her almost every day:-( hugs jan xx
