Home Sweet Home

There is one place in this lonely life where I can run away to on this long, dark road. Only the moon knows my way home tonight and I hold the key to this door in my heart. I see an open book still on the table waiting for my eyes to read again, and an inviting, marshallow-soft pillow, offering to cradle my sleepy head and uphold me in what dreams may come.... The warmth of home is where my heart is tonight. (This poem was inspired by the song "Home Sweet Home" by Motley Crue.)

Dear Kelly, Not only was tizz my favorite poem. You hit it right on the nail, I love where the inspiration came from. I too was inspired by Motley Crue, when listening to the song repeatedly. That's when I decided I wanted to see what others have to say, about their safe zone. Dark or not, it is home. Home Sweet Home. ""I'm on my way, just set me free, HOME SWEET HOME."" Love this. When I'm driving home at night the moon is always there, like a close friend watching over me. So, it would know my way home. I think that is where the line came from... I really appreciate your kind words. Thank you very much, Tim!
