Holes

Wherever I find a hole I attempt to fill it with poetry: the pocket, the heart, poetry my go-to mending part~ no seamstress should do without a lyric or two Every planter sowing a field should pass time composing while preparing his yield – poetry, always somewhat satisfying in the place till a lick of the lips a burp, a blush your delightfully saucy face!

Poetry should lift our hearts. Whatever we do, God may inspire us to poetry.

I think you are right, Victor; even sad poetry is warily admired, for there is intrinsic beauty that seems to transcend sense and purpose. Thank you, my friend.

The beautiful words of your poem convey the the idea that poetry is not only 'filling,' but 'fulfilling,' Joe. I have composed poetry in too many different places count. ;) Blessings

Wonderful Poem. I believe poetry should fill the air, everywhere. No matter what you are doing, a poem should be brewing. There is nothing you should do, that a poem wont ensue. In fact my best time to create a poem about a flower is when I am in the shower. Love your poem Joe

Salt n pepper is the color of my hair, and if a lil eggshell gets in the omelette, its all the more to share. : )

Thank you, Wen; great, poetic comment! What the heck...I always try to make omelettes out of broken eggs. Being creative, even with everyday simple tasks, relationships; attempting to be witty just spices things up -- even when salt and pepper are missing.
