The sponsor chose words I’ve never heard of before So if I don’t win the contest I’ll declare he’s a bore It’s axiomatic that I’ve an altruistic attitude But I don’t give a fig if folks think that I’m rude! I’ll sign a declaration of my asseveration Then bare my teeth like an angry Alsatian! Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is the fear of long words Is this word some kind of cynical joke aimed at dim witted nerds! Thanks Ilene, its a premiere contest so places are limited. I'd love to be anywhere on the list as I rarely enter these contests and also it was a last minute idea as i found the words uninspiring until I came up with this silly idea:-) hugs jan xx

I wasn't going to enter the contest as i found the words uninspiring but I wrote the first 3 stanzas last night and posted them, then googled to see if there was a phobia of long words and I was well rewarded lol:-) love to you and all the family:-) hugs jan xx
