Here I will stay in veiled warm sun
cradled in autumn's golden spun
leaves, pleased with nature's heaven scene
kisses blown in red, brown, and green
weaving around my heart its won.
Sun's fingers draw back one by one
as the fickle moon wakes outdone
glowing full where it can be seen.
Here I will stay.
Beneath raining leaves that begun
to furrow with dew, match to none
I'll listen secrets I might glean,
shrouded amid dawn to dark screen
soon winter's song amaze and stun.
Here I will stay.
